TBH, just buy a cheap electric screwdriver and a couple of composite ramps. The undertray comes off in 5 minutes and goes back on in the same amount of time. If you need the protection of a metal undertray go for it but for making an oil/filter change easier it is not necessary.
My "24 XLT Hybrid has also started to exhibit this annoying behavior of no courtesy lights on a door being opened. Very disappointed at times with this truck.
I bought the K&N oil filter with the nut on the end. The nut broke off as I tried to remove the filter. Worst looking weld holding the nut on that I ever saw. Never bought another.
I installed the FORD seat covers from the accessories site (https://accessories.ford.com/). They warn not to use the seat heaters with the covers installed. It sounds like a CYA thing from FORD.
The covers are made out of a cotton like material similar to a man's pants. No problems running...
I was considering carving up my Hybrid shield. I did my first oil/filter change and decided then that carving up the shield is not worth it because it is EASILY REMOVEABLE. A cheap electric screwdriver and a set of car ramps and you are home free. Also you get to inspect the...
I had Expel PPF installed on my Mav in April this year. $1500 for a full front bumper, 1/3 hood/fenders/lights and mirrors. Professionally installed and 10 year warranty. I also had my 2016 Outback given the same treatment. 9 years out and 70K miles and the OB front end looks brand new and...
That picture looks like it is showing the drivers side or left wheel well to me. But yes, you are right to say the wheel well liner has more coverage than my 24 XLT Hybrid.
AVC,
Did you connect both rear speakers to your sub or only use one of the speakers leads? Can I get away with just using one set of rear leads and get adequate sound out of my Rockville SSP8 sub?
Thanks.

They cut me a key to open the door or tailgate but not start the vehicle for about $25. Just in case I lock my keys in the car. They do have the resources to cut keys to start the engine. I think it was around $75.
These are off the Ford Accessories site which I posted above. They are not much for looks but go on easy and are very comfortable. I paid less than $70/seat with a 25% discount and some Ford points. They allow the seat airbags to deploy if needed. I dont need to worry about being sweaty...
Hey Dean S,
Your truck is awesome and your mods are well thought out. I have 2500 miles on my XLT and have enjoyed every mile. Have fun with your new truck.
Oh yeah,
Throw some better door speakers in that thang.
