I'm sorry if you posted this, but I missed it. What temperature do you have your heat set to? You could test turning off any HVAC settings and see if it does what you expect.

The Mavs' mirror is manual, so there is no power running to it. You have to open the top console and tap into the overhead lights.

I thought I heard on one of @fordvideoguy videos that the Lariat has speed sign recognition which can be set to change the cruise control to the posted speed limit. There is also a setting for how far over the posted limit it can go.
