My 2 front ones are loose as well. Mabett was great and sent me another whole kit and the same thing.
I noticed that the back handle cubbies have a much thicker closed cell foam than the fronts.
What I am doing is slicing some of the exact same foam that came with the Mabett under carriage...
I got the factory Ford bed mat with points on @Dave Os post and it is pretty nice. I have it over the factory spray in liner and that is also very nice.
I have seen some folks grab the Tractor Supply horse stall mat. They cut out the area for the tie downs and cut to fit. It isn't quite as wide...
Just an FYI on rod bearing clearance comparison.
Ford 302 - 0.0008 to 0.0015 in
Duratec 2.5l - 0.001-0.002 in
That is from factory engine build manuals. I couldn't find the Maverick specs. That Duratec number is from the Ford Fusion Hybrid.
You can see the factory rod bearing clearance is...
So I have been running it in ECO mode almost all the time and it is a bit sluggish, but that is what it is supposed to be.
I find the throttle tip in and throw is quite a bit longer than most cars. It takes more travel distance to get that ooompfh out of it.
I drove back from Portland and had...
So the total miles was 248. 233 of that was freeway and the rest in town. From the exit to the house, from the house to the Goodwill, back to the house then back to the freeway.
That would be 94% freeway and 6% in town. Most of the in town driving was electric.
Fill up 7.17 (rounded up)...
So I just got back from Portland OR, about 115 miles. All I-5. Temp was 49-52 degrees.
Cruise control set at 72mph. Eco mode. Very light rain here and there. No real wind.
We got 36.3mpg on the way down and 34.9 on the way back. I didn't take a screen shot. We are pretty close to sea level...
I bought our Ford Platinum extended warranty on our 2015 Ford Flex Limited from Granger. It was $1800 or so. The Flex had 31k miiles.
We had a weird thrumming noise at freeway speeds. Took it in and it did take a while for them to figure it out. They replaced the front CV shafts/joints, changed...
I will say I like the BLIS setup. We have it on our Flex and it is handy.
I am not sure I would reorder the truck just to get it but I do find it handy.
So a quick look at some wire charts show that standard bright 1/4" cable has a minimum break strength of 5480lbs. Safe load is 1100lbs. Not sure exactly what the cable size is, maybe a bit more than 1/4" so I wouldn't worry about the cable breaking from weight.
I have a 2001 Dodge 1500 with the...
Amen. It is incredibly hard to design a decent UI. I had to design a fairly simple GUI for a hardware interface. It was for a free software piece we offered to small businesses to manage hardware level security and other hardware level stuff.
It took me forever to make it look decent and work...
