I popped the panel out using a plastic trim removal tool over a small towel. No problems at all. If someone wants to "undo' the mod I recall the panel is about $45..

The panel pops out easily, I recall there are (4) clips. I made a simple shielded, fused cable that runs to the threaded "+" post under the red cap and also to a chassis ground below it... No need to open the hood....

Order the (warranted) Ford Performance tune now from Lethal Performance while it's on their Black Friday sale. Decent HP gain, HUGE torque gain, improved shift strategy, etc.... I have it on my Bronco Raptor..
