Haha this post is old! We actually moved to East Falls last year and I sold the maverick while the value was high. I found the backup camera quality to be awful and hard to park at night.
I switched over to a 2019 Forester Touring and got a great price on it. Ill miss the Mav though, if Ford...
I am honestly glad I sold my XLT Maverick for a profit with the amount of shit ford is pulling on the 2022/23 order.
Copilot 360 should still be a stand alone package W/Adaptive cruise for the 2023 and beyond. It seems like they are charging more while taking more away from the lower trim. I...
I’ve decided to sell my Maverick, having too many quality issues with it. It randomly shifted into neutral yesterday while taking a turn and has been having weird random harsh shifts in low gears. Radio freezing and carplay randomly not working also is a deal breaker for me. Ford techs cant do...
We have an 05 explorer which has seats that are downright cushy. Ironically my mav had an issue and went to the dealer. While they had it they loaned me a new 22 explorer and the seats are just as uncomfortable as the mav. If I had to choose I'd rather buy an 05 new instead of the 22...
TFL and other autobloggers are under NDA with these manafacturers and cannot release certain content before that NDA expires. . For example TFL also recently did a 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid first drive video but cant release it for a couple weeks until the NDA expires. That was mentioned briefly in...
They have two (pretty sure two, not walking out to double look) bolts that hold it in from the tailgate and plastic clips they snap into on the back of the tail light. Sorry for not responding fellas, just moved :) Almost 9k miles in now, taillight is still solid. My appointment lasted less...
Put mine on today, moving to a higher population area and want the piece of mind. The ford locks dont really bother me. Also piece of mind if I lose my socket key ford can get me another one.
What a band-aid fix. I wouldn't be surpised if road salt accumulates in these holes during the winter. Also wouldnt removing the grill shutter pieces just add more air to the already going fire?
I rather have them fix the actual engine issues rather than do the work arounds for them in case they do actually fail. It honestly reminds me of the Ford Pinto fire issues, Ford did not handle that one well.
