According to Wikipedia, the 1949 F-6 was available with three engines: 3.7L flathead 6 with 95 hp, a 3.9L flathead V8 with 100 hp and a 4.2L flathead 6 with 110 hp. Not huge engines and not much power. Iām guessing fuel economy wasnāt great either.
I became a farm bureau member shortly after I ordered so that shouldnāt have been a problem. Iāll talk to the finance person again and see what they can do. Thanks for the info.
Just an FYI, I picked up my Maverick on Saturday and Fordās system wouldnāt let me combine the farm bureau discount with the 0%/36 month financing offer. I could have done the 1.9%/36 month, but the 0% saves me a couple of hundred bucks over the life of the loan.
My build week was 9/19, but it says itās production now. How long does production take and how long does it take to get to the dealer once itās been built?
