$112.60 shipped, be here Saturday it says! This is cool, I'll try at this price point. I've been on the fence wanting the Built Right, but $300 for the pair seems pretty high. I'll try these at $100ish all day long.
Yeah, I know. I did all the research before I went "overkill" on my "little thing". I also factored in tire weight; rotating mass is huge. I'm ok with my 1.5 MPG loss. Enjoy your 235's and not having to worry about the wheel well liners catching fire. Let the overkillers live their lives.
Thanks for your reply Montana, "just saying" really sells it. I can assure you it sits level, notice there is some weight at the very end of the bed with the 4 tires. You may be right that a casual observer won't see the difference, but Seafarrer and I will and appreciate the added cool factor...
Same size tire, is NOT overkill, haven't caught fire yet in just over 1,500 miles having my tires. The rubbing will work itself out as the tires wear. Send it and enjoy the new cooler look.
Yeah, I've seen you mention this every time someone asks about this kit. But 4 cylinder vs. 8, ceramic coatings available now days, wash the vehicle at least weekly, and worse case I have to get a set of cool aftermarket wheels. Thanks for the selling point on new wheels to my wife!
Put some new rubber on the cruiser today! Falken Wildpeak A/T4 245/70R17. Love them! Quiet, lighter than BFGs by about 10 lbs./tire and look a little beefier than the A/T3s that were on it. Has the fordrangerlifts.com level kit in the front, otherwise stock suspension. Slight rub when...
I added Eco and Sport mode. Sport mode has been fun. Has a different/deeper sound to the engine inside the cabin. Almost V8ish, but maybe that's piped in through the speakers like Tundras do to make their V6's sound like a V8. Has more pep, holds shift points longer if you get on it. I've...
My dealer had both an XLT and Lariat Tremor when I bought mine. They both had the bigger screen, the top one. Ultimately I bought lariat because I saw value in the price difference with the spray-in bedliner, "leather" seats, better B&O stereo, cargo tie downs, power rear window slider, and...
I'm thinking about this exhaust. Interested in real world experience. Did you do King of the hill or trail rated? I'm interested in trail rated (I hate how the full length looks, hangs down so much) but don't want to sound like an import rice rocket/focus.
