  1. Carpeted Floor Mats for 2025 Maverick - recommendations?

These are available at Fits My Car for the Maverick. :)
  2. 2025 Gas Gauge Trustworthy?

Coming at it from a different perspective - - - You have a brand new truck that you paid good money for and you want to play the gas gauge game with it? Do you trust it? Not an issue. Just fill the darn thing up. :curse:
  3. Tonneau cover

Not sure where you are - had soft covers on several of my Rangers, they were an absolute PIA when the weather turned cold. Agonized over a hard tri-fold as fully open they cover the back window. Then I realized that if you were hauling anything that required it to be open, the back window...
  4. Back Seat Headrests

Finally got my back seat headrests adjusted so I can see out the rear window. I'll post instructions, if y'all need them. (y)
  5. Random Bolt Appearance

I hate it when random bolts show up under the back of my Mav.
  6. Your Other Rides!?

How 'bout a shout out to the little guys. 2013 Mazda2 with 100 screaming horses and a 5 click manual. Lots of fun in a small package. :)
  7. What do y'all think of Sync 4?

I've used 3 for so long, I'm used to it. This is a vid of Sync 4 in an Escape, should be pretty much the same. The one thing I do not like is climate control on the screen. I'm old school and like some buttons and knobs.
  8. NEWBIE QUESTION ABOUT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS

I'll go back a bit farther. My Ramblers had vacuum wipers, supposedly infinitely adjustable. Unfortunately, they're powered by the engine vacuum. You get slow with intermittent bursts of wiper panic.
  9. Puddles of fluid under vehicle

I only see puddles under LONE when an F350 parks next to her.
  10. NEWBIE QUESTION ABOUT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS

Ahh, grasshopper. That controls the sensitivity of your intermittent wipers. Low for misty, high for heavy drizzle. (y)
  11. Dealership Warning

Good idea - unless they have the screen angled away from you and mostly covered. Like any new car sale, it gets to the point where you just want it to be over.
  12. Dealership Warning

I’m not sure where to post dealership warnings. So, if this gets moved, I’m OK. I bought my Maverick back in July from a large Ford dealership. I won’t name names, but they are in a well-known city in southern Maryland. They share the name of the city, are located on Crain Highway, and the name...
  13. Acronym Reference Guide

Not to be argumentative, but y'all seem to be confusing initialisms and acronyms. Initialisms are a series of first letters that cannot be pronounced - like FBI. Acronyms can be pronounced as a word - like scuba and fubar. That said, my favorites were at the Veterans Health Admin. - every...
  14. TufSkinz Door Sills Protector Installed

Got these TufSkinz protectors from Amazon. Wasn't sure about them at first, but I think they'll do OK.
  15. What do you like MOST about your Maverick?

With most everything else covered, I like that it looks like a truck. Everything they force a comparison with shows what it was before they screwed with it and stuck a bed on it.
  16. Tradition!

A maverick is an individual that does not follow the crowd - somewhat of a loner. The Maverick is a truck that does not follow the current trend in trucks or vehicles. If you look at the current offerings, it's a loner. My last two Rangers (2010 and 2019) carried the LONE plate and I...
