Thanks for your answer concerning the AGM battery and deep sleep mode.
The rest was just my real life experience with my truck. I'm a graphic artist, not a mechanic or engineer. I don't understand all the in's and out's of how my truck works. But I've been told that the interior lights won't...
All I know is this: My '22 Lariat Hybrid goes into battery saver mode, once it does, the interior lights do not come on when entering the truck. Also, you cannot unlock the truck from the passenger side door handle, but you can from the driver side door handle. When my truck is NOT in battery...
Having the right tires really helps! Wife has AWD, when new had All-Season tires, not that good in Northern Michigan. She put on some Blizzaks and what a difference it made at stopping, and then starting from a dead stop.
My thought on the missing badges: Ford should put them back on, especially the AWD Hybrid. Someone might be behind one, see the badges, then be interested in checking it out. May never have known Ford updated the options for the 2025 Maverick, now including the AWD on the Hybrid.
So it was in deep sleep mode.
I was all set to buy an AGM battery, but others said that doesn’t fix the problem. Guess I will wait to see what Ford has up their sleeve
My auto-dimming rear view mirror (Gentex-Auto-Dim-Mirror) has buttons built in to open the garage door. My truck did not come with any opener built in.
Mine always starts, even when it's in deep sleep mode. Did you notice whether your dome lights came on or not when you started it after coming back from your trip?
Thanks. Maybe I'm not understanding 'Read Manual', but in the three years I have had my truck, when it is in 'deep sleep mode', you CANNOT open the passenger side door by just grabbing the exterior door handle, and the interior lights DO NOT turn on when I open the door, any door. These two...
Correct. But, when my truck is not in 'deep sleep mode', you can grab the passenger door handle and it will unlock if you have the key fob on your person. When my truck is in 'deep sleep mode' then I must use the key fob and unlock my truck if I want to access the passenger side door to open.
My truck, when not in 'deep sleep mode', will turn on the interior dome light when I open the door, that's the way it's suppose to work. You should never have to get into a 'dark' vehicle and have the lights turn on 'after' you hit the start button.
My ‘22 hybrid has always started and only the driver side door unlocks by grabbing the door handle. Passenger side door doesn’t open when in deep sleep mode when you grab the handle, and interior dome lights don’t work.
Question: if I delete Ford app from my phone, will this solve the problem...
