I have a 24 Ecoboost and my son has a 23 hybrid. No issues for either except recalls. It sounds like yours may qualify as a lemon.

It's a great feature but nothing new. Ford station wagons had the 2 way tailgate back in the 60s! Per the video - it looks like the Maverick driver did a much better job of keeping momentum up than the Wrangler driver.

I sure hope I don't experience this issue starting around 60k. To me, late stages means 200,000 miles and greater.

I've owned many Ford products over the years (all of them served me well), but the Maverick is the first one I purchased new. Previous new purchases were Mazda, Honda and Toyota. So far, I'm very happy with my Maverick.

No doubt the Maverick number would be quite a bit higher if it weren't for the camera recall/stop sale with all the 2024s sitting on dealer lots.

The ticket has no method of speed measurement indicated. I'd assume it's radar.

I'm questioning how they were able to track me down 20 miles down the road. I suppose it could have been a traffic camera that grabbed my license plate number.

I received the recall notice for my 24 XL but have yet to experience any camera freezes. I was at the dealer this week and saw a half dozen 24 XLTs sitting on the lot that obviously can't be sold.

My current average reading (AWD 4k tow) is 28.6. It's a little better in warmer weather - around 29.5. I live in the foothills of NC and am mostly easy on the gas in normal mode.

So far no camera freezing on my XL.

What is "Connected Touch Radio"? Is that Sync (which my XL doesn't have) or something else?

What do these prices say about supply and demand? It's pretty obvious.

Nice, thanks for sharing! I'm planning to do some month (or more) long trips in my Maverick when I retire next year. Did you stay in hotels, camp, or RV (did you tow a trailer)? I got the 4k tow package so I can tow a smallish travel trailer.

I know someone that has a Bronco Sport with the Ecoboost 2.0 that had similar symptoms. It turned out to be the battery. It was covered under warranty.
