If you have a 70 ah battery at 50% it will take about 35 hours(maybe more) to fully charge at an average of 1ah from the charger. Are you waiting this long? The last 10% of charge will take as long as the 50 to 80% time, more or less.
Are you running a trickle charge or "repair" cycle?
Once...
Sort of, and I found their price for the warranty very reasonable. Given what even a minor service/repair costs these days I think it is absolutely "worth it" if you plan to keep your vehicle 6-8-or more years. Be sure to get the day one rental and "bulb replacement" coverage too, they cost...
As the old saying goes ābeauty is in the eye of the beholderā, so is ugly, I suppose. But if the owner likes it, it doesnāt matter what anybody else likes or dislikes! JMHO š
No doubt it does.
But I fail to see how that relates to pulling a boat up a steep boat ramp.
Your statement about wet grass does not make my statement about the boat ramp falseāļøš
Someone who knows that a fwd truck is useless for retrieving a boat and trailer on a steep launch ramp and has two other 4wd vehicles much more capable for that use or any other towing requirement.
I would avoid that truck. Mod of the exhaust may indicate a hard driving style of the previous owner. Who knows why they sold or traded the truck and possible problems with future warranty work because of the mod(s?).
Back to the original question of where do you put the maintainer port.
Hereās where I put mine and wired it to the under hood, jumping point for positive and directly to one of the grounds on the frame.
Those voltages sound reasonable; but be aware the actual voltage may be a little different.
I have 3 of those plug in "meters" in different vehicles; when checked against a "better" volt meter, each on reads 0.2 to 0.3 V lower than measured with a stand alone meter. Measured in the same plug...
Thatās true but Amazon is frequently wrong!
One has to do their own research and then decide what works and what will not. I have found other car parts that were not ālistedā for a certain application, but cross reference showed they were the same part.
I'm in total agreement and sympathy with you; but the real demon in this scenario is the person who plowed into you.
Following too close or too fast or distracted, they bear the responsibility in my book.
My '24 hybrid had the crappy flooded battery (made in Spain) Not an AGM.
I have replaced it with an H4 AGM and the AGM performs well and entirely differently from the flooded battery. I'll be doing a post on the difference soon.
I donāt have a beef with you; just trying to help.
That Service bulletin and others on the same topic are not written very well and Fordās Response and lack of a solution to this problem is Not what one would expect from them.
Please use the ignore button if you donāt wish to see my responses.
So? At 9.5 v the battery is dead.
50% state Charge is 12.0 to 12.1 volts.
0% state of charge is 10.0 V.
What Ford is saying is that if you have a dead battery youāll get the message.
