There is a definite difference between the two. The 2025 exhaust is a touch louder than the 2022. I feel the engine is quieter on the 2025 than the 2022 though.
I figured that out thanks! It’s much better with the tach and you can have a somewhat round speedo there too. Much better than the plain boring screen.
Saturday was the day. I said farewell to my 2022 HPR XLT and took delivery of my 2025 EG Lariat. My 22 had 44,8xx miles on it and they gave me 20,500 for trade it. I was happy with that so I went forward with the deal.
My first impression of the 25 are meh. The new features are cool compared...
Looks neat. You need a flash warning for that video haha.
It would be cool to see the finished product and how you use it. If you needed to remove it how long and difficult would it be?
Here’s a better picture of the seal after we removed the cap. It definitely collects some junk in the gap but I’ve never actually cleaned it out lol.
The gap varies from about 1 inch to 1.5 inches since the cap bumps out for the third brake light. I’ve seen foam seals that would work to seal the gap but never tried it.
With the correct seal and some strategic placing of butyl I had it where water would drain when I made a turn or when it...
Little update. Pulled the cap off on Saturday to help transport an engine I sold to a friend. The cap was stuck on there like glue! The correct double bubble seal really works well and I had no leaks with it.
They tapped into the driver-side tail light for the brake light power. I haven't looked at exactly how they tapped it but the connector to the cap was just some non weather proof connectors. My buddy wired a deutsch connector that's weather proof. Super easy to disconnect.
I might be selling...
This weekend I helped my friend transport an engine I sold him. I had to remove the cap so the engine hoist could get the engine out. It works out because I plan on trading the truck in by the end of the month. Since I resealed the cap I haven't taken it off and boy was it stuck on there. I...
I think 25MPG is decent for a Tremor. When I test drove the 25 Tremor I was very impressed compared to my 22 XLT. The suspension was very smooth and the cabin noise was greatly reduced. I'm hoping the 25 Lariat I have on order feels like the 25 Tremor. Did your Tremor handle bumps better than...
Congrats on the new truck! I have a Lariat on order but I test drove a Tremor and really liked it. What made you go with the Tremor originally? Did you ever use it offroad?
Nice! I guess the color of the car has a lot to do with it as well. Can I ask how much the PPF was for the car? Now you've got me thinking for mine haha.
