Drive your vehicle easy in the mean time. The only thing that will go bad will be the axle joint especially if it's on the drivers side. And it would be likely give you plenty of warning and make a lot of noise before it would separate. Having a Tremor I hope that I will get more miles at of my...
You have a right to be aggravated however let them change the other axle when they get a chance and see what happens with the performance of your vehicle after that maybe your luck will change and everything will workout.
The difference between the two tires 225- 245 is 1" in height. At 60 MPH you would really be doin 62.15. I would not bother to change anything with forscan unless you know what you are doing.
This is a very subjective topic as I only know one individual that uses Maverick Tremor off road and it's all sand so it's hard to get a good comparison with out more input from other drivers. I have been driving on the beach to fish since I purchased my Tremor. Most individuals just drive there...
I out performed my friends Tremor with his 70s. on the sand I am using Cooper Road + Trail 245/65. You will gain only a 1/2 (13mm) of height. The tire is redesign since Goodyear took over the company. It has a quiet ride and is soft as the Falken's. however a little higher in price. At 65 MPH...
Go with a 245-65 R And you might want to lift the front 1". It's only a 2.0 L I get through tough sand with these size tires there just enough with out bogging down problems. I do use my Tremor for what it was designed for so I tested many options.
If your not going to tow all the time then go with the Tremor. Later on don't say I should have. Maybe a left over 24 XLT Tremor would be the right price for you.
Non Maverick related. I realize most individuals are not interested or give a crap about someone 's personal photos. Being that most of my family members are gone I feel that I should share some photos with other families of veterans on this day that sacrifice their time or gave their life...
Did this on my Tremor. The simplest way of doing this is to get an external battery maintainer (4 or 5 amps will do) plug it into your inverter outlet in the truck bed and have the charger charging your auxiliary battery that powers your inverter. Every time you start your Maverick and drive...
I realize this question has been asked on this forum that targets the regular maverick. Here's my question. Are there any Tremor owners with 25 K plus or lower That had any axle problems. Yes I know the Tremor axles are suppose to be stronger however if there are no issues with them most likely...
The locking RDU in the Tremor is manufactured by DANA. It uses the same fluid as the standard RDU in the Maverick. I use the locker in the sand a lot so I changed the fluid at 22K.
Unless you are driving into a sharp turn doing 65 MPH your traction control and stability control should correct any oversteer at a lower speed. A millimeter or two of tread won't make a difference. He pulled a fast one on you.
