I have changed mine at 5k everytime since I got it with no issues and the pil has looked fine. I didn't send it out for a full spectrometer test but it looks fine to me. I did the first change at 3k then has been 5k ever since running full syth
Piggy pack tuners interuppt the singal.and change what the computer sees or receives for signals. The computer on newer vehicles logs the engine conditions and looks for any changes or abnormalities in the signals and logs any that it sees in the computer.
The way a piggyback is suppose to work...
Sounds like the install is basically identical to the RaceChip that I bought. I haven't installed mine so can't give an opinion on it because they can invalidate your warranty in my state even though piggybacks CLAIM they are untraceable.
I only have about 6k give or take on my warranty so...
The only modification I have made to my 22 fx4 4k was a tonneau cover. On the Faulken Wildpeak AT3W tires that came on mine I average around 31 to 33mpg and live up in Maine which is very up and down also worst i have seen on mine is 29 which is during the winter (when the temp drops below 30°...
Ya I only push it to 5k on a broken in motor and only on Synthetic oils. I personally have never trusted a cars oil life sensor. Some have been spot on but I prefer to keep it at a set schedule...
I mean shit happens and it may happen beforehand a bad head or head gasket come to mind.... which...
I have the same truck just in Area 51. Had since Oct 21 so about 15 months and I'm at 24k. I live in Maine and unfortunately I don't have the heated seats or mirrors. I wish I had the mirrors... I am currently 4k into my current oil and the Intelligent oil gauge says it is at 61% life so I would...
I get between 30 and 33 depending on what I'm doing but usually around 31mpg. I have 23k on mine and have had it for 14-15months (October 2021)
Here is a couple pics from.my last tanks of gas
One was part way through the tank and the 2nd is when I filled up before I reset it. While the truck...
Bingham Maine.
High grade/test/premium whatever you wanna call it up here is sold ethanol free. We have alot of recreational machines (ATVs, snowmobiles, side by sides) that come through and people don't like using ethanol in them or their home care equipment (lawn mowers, weed wackers, log...
Personally I hope they do a Raptor or ST version of the Maverick I'll trade mine in for it. I actually have a standing order with a ford dealer that if they release one of either then I have first order allocation they get for one. My Xlt FX4 is great and I have a racechip and couple other...
My maverick was a magnet for the first year because there wasn't very many and everyone wanted to look at it. I could have parked in the middle of a field behind a walmart and it would have been surrounded when I returned. Now that there are getting to me ALOT more (I see them everywhere now...
While I haven't had any real snow to deal with yet I have had a few time with freezing rain and ice and the tires seem to be handling it with no problems I had to pass some people during the storm on Friday cause they were doing 20 under and I couldn't stand driving that slow when I didn't have...
I did my first oil change at 2500 for basically the same reason to get rid of any particles that had appeared in New engine getting used. I'm aware that all new engines have actually been ran for awhile before installation to mitigate this but better safe than sorry in my opinion.
Ya there is a version of the promaster with a "Captians chair" that has air bags that is Supposed to be more comfortable... I don't have that and I have a cage behind the seats so I can put my seat back very far. I have asked the boss if I can find some rear doors that have windows if I can...
Unfortunately I found out the hard way as I was at a job that was only about an hour drive on a normal day but I didn't have my studded snow tires yet and it started to come down pretty hard before I left to head home and the normal trip involved going over a well know road for sucking in the...
Ya to be honest I probably should keep a set in that van just in case but usually I just avoid the roads with the big hills if possible but I know there is gonna be a day when I'm gonna need them but usually if the roads are too bad and I don't think I can make it my company credit card works on...
Can't really say so far yet we have only had one storm and it didn't really amount to anything. Once we get some snow up here I'll find out.... whether I want to or not haha.
I have a company work van that I drive for work that even with new studded snow tires (not faulken tires though) sucks...
I got my Maverick xlt fx4k with 360 13 months ago and have just over 23k on it. I live up in Maine and the truck wad the best I have driven in for winter storms/weather. I didn't do to much playing as I hadn't really broke it in yet but I did have a day where I had snow up to just under my door...
