Update: The dealership believes they have narrowed it down to the rear differential. They also warned that this might not resolve the issue. They ordered the part but it's on backorder and they don't have an ETA yet. My corporate contact called yesterday too and said if this doesn't resolve the...
Update-ish: After an awful service experience with the dealer where I purchased the truck, I decided to move to a highly-rated Ford dealer that's 15 miles further. I dropped the truck off on 1/19. I called today for an update and they have no idea what the problem is. The next step is gutting...
Thank you!! I got hit by a turkey and the only damage was popping out the mirror, scratching the heck out of those decals, and a new pair of undies. Can you post a link to where you got the part? I found this link but it would be great to confirm it's right.
The warranty at Costco is worth it for me. And I got the wheels off Craigslist but I think I just got lucky. 1-year-old set off a 2018 Escape with TPMS sensors for $250.
Another update: I drove to work and back yesterday and I never got a fault. Completely normal dash. I haven't done anything...
Update: I went to Costco. They said to take it to the dealer and if they were the cause they'll cover it. The dealership is so busy I can't get anyone to answer. I can only leave a voicemail. I'm guessing it will be a while until I know more.
Sadly only a few inches.
The only thing that has been changed on the truck in 10+ months is the tires.
Only the front wheels have blue tape and the sensors with visible wires are on the front wheels. Not sure what to make of that. Agree that it doesn't have a factory look. Does anyone else have blue tape on the front...
Thanks, all, for the help and advice so far. Below are the 4 sensors. To me, they don't appear to be clearly damaged but I could be wrong. Edit: I want to note that back sensors (1,4) are very well taped and the front two have visible wires (2,3)
No lights on when I started it today. Went for...
These were 4 special-order tires delivered to the warehouse. I know they are all the same.
No, I'm not. But I drove 20-30 miles without issue and the truck displayed what appeared to be correct tire pressures.
I'll be taking off all four wheels tomorrow to inspect the suspension.
I search but didn't find many with this issue. I've got a Lariet Lux. I got the XL 17x7 steelies and put 225/65 R17 winter tires on. They were installed by Costco two days ago. Today I drove to work in the snow and got the following all at once. I stopped for a bit for an appointment. Started it...
Very few are camera-based. Tesla, maybe Mercedes. The rest use an infrared sensor and the Maverick doesn't have it. You might be able to swap out the Escape mirror that has that sensor but that's a wild guess.
You need a MyQ device, the home bridge (pictured), and an AppleTV. Unfortunately, they have discontinued the Home Bridge but it's still supported and it looks like you can still find them online.
Mine has worked down to the single digits after using an external charger. After a year of ownership constantly dealing with this I’ve figured that the problem is that the system is not charging enough to support AutoStop/Start or there is something draining the battery excessively when it’s...
