BAP Black Appearance Package pictures: Carbonized Gray Hybrid Maverick Lariat Lux
So I ran across this today on a dealers showroom. I have to say that the lariat interior is pretty nice. I like the black active x seats. I think when and if my alto blue BAP lariat hybrid comes itāll look sharp. I think itās the best color to mirror the blue interior panels.
If I had to say one thing I wasnāt too thrilled with it would be the gloss black mirror caps with the standard black plastic on the lower half.A minor grievance but overall I think on the lariat trim itās $1645 pretty well spent. Definitely makes for a standout.

Have had several people in other mavericks ask me about the wheels at gas stations and other places. Then I remembered I forgot to make a post on here when I got these wheels and tires 9 months ago. The tire size is perfect with zero rubbing or any other issues at all. Speedometer is exactly spot on correct now as the tires are very slightly taller vs the stock size but the speedo was very slightly running too fast in from the factory. Road noise is a little worse but it is not bad at all. MPG is down by around 10% from the factory tires most noticeable if driving at high speed. I got under 30 mpg average driving to vegas from phoenix and back at 75-85 mph on two separate trips. My MPG average is ~32 after 5500 miles with 80% or more highway driving at 75-80 mph. Summer hot weather with max AC kills the MPG a bit too.

Put the matte black lettering on over the weekend. Looks way better than the body colored lettering in my opinion.

"H&R super sport springs on my AWD eco. Sits nice but in the end Iād like it an inch lower all around. until someone comes out with a decent riding bigger drop itāll work. The nice thing is itās fully functional and rides well. 22x9 +38 all around with 265/35r22 no rub no issues."

Just got done with my first road trip with the maverick, hauling my atv to Glamis California. My quad has modified suspension, and at nearly 50ā wide it wouldnāt fit in the bed. I used a ratchet strap to pull the front control arms in toward each other, effectively drooping out the suspension and reducing the width just enough to fit.
I put a 2x12 on the wheel wells to give the front tires a secure platform to sit on, since itās too wide to fit between the wheel wells. I put nutserts in the holes on the wheel wells and bolted the board down.
I also installed d rings in the front corners of the bed. I used āmedium dutyā husky brand d rings from Home Depot. The holes didnāt quite match up so I had to do a little grinding with a dremel. Others have suggested using m8x1.25 bolts for d rings in this location, but I found the holes to be slightly too big, so I opted for 3/8-16 instead.
Hauling my atv was the main reason I got my maverick, and I have to say it did the job perfectly! Iām lowered on H&R super sport springs, and it still drove great with a quad in the bed. I got 29.5 mpg, which Iām happy with, considering the front fenders are up above the roof disrupting the aero. Iām really liking this truck so far!
