Took delivery today of my Shadow Black Ecoboost

Ordered 1/5/2022, honored signed order date price of 12/20/2021.

Only hiccup is a small ding on the drivers side passenger door (dealer has arranged for repair; trusting them since they’ve been a pleasure to deal with). This is my first (personal) new car purchase—ever and I’m ecstatic.

What's the part number on the engine cover how much was it can you find ones in the junkyard from an older Escape save some money?

Ive had this since March. Ive done tint, ceramic coating, stubby antenna, bed mat, and tonneau. I have mud flaps but havent put them on yet. Very happy with it so far.

How does the black hold up with the ceramic coating? I’ve never had a black vehicle but if I do get one I’ve always told myself ceramic coating is a must.

First time with a ceramic coating. Its hard to say for sure without being able to compare side by side, black with no ceramic and black with ceramic after a year. That being said, ive had it since March and in my completely uninformed opinion, the ceramic has helped. When washed, the car still looks great. Dont see many marks and still shines.

Picked up the new Maverick on 12/19 and put the wheels, tires, bed rug impact, Prox15 cover, floor mats and mud flaps on today
