Dash controls question

Photo cred to Reddit's LiftedMold196, and to @JVolpe for sharing it in the maverick truck forums. Can someone tell me what that switch on the bottom does? I've seen similar in trucks we've rented for work in the past, but never bothered to figure it out.

Please forgive me - this will be my first ownership experience with any kind of truck.

Trailer brake controller

Having never towed more than a small log splitter, I've never messed with that. I appreciate the help.

MaxPaul, FWIW, the slide is the manual control to apply electric brakes on the trailer(alone) and the +/- buttons below adjust the amount of electric(trailer) braking that applies in automatic. You can adjust the trailer brakes so they assist, but do not perform the braking the truck brakes should(e.g., if you over-boost the trailer brakes).
