I’m sorry, who wants a beige truck

Me, but there's no specific definition of beige other than that its a very light shade on the brown spectrum.

Cyber orange grabbed my attention first. Orange and green are my favorite colors and weirdly, no green option… but the more I look at cyber orange, the more it is yellow. I had a first production year Honda Element in burnt orange and was hoping for an orange like that. Looks like the Chili Pepper Red is actually closer to that, but I’m afraid it will be more red. First world problem, but I’m having a hard time committing to a color so I’m staying safe at the moment with Cactus Gray.

With Cyber Orange being a tri-metallic paint should we be worried about the metallic flakes in the pain causing uneven heating of the paint that leads to fading, like as happened to many Nissan Titans with black metallic paint?

I love the cyber orange, but being an old gheezer I better stick with cactus gray.

I honestly like the almost sunny side up color you get in bright sunlight especially with the black wheels and trim. God knows I could use a little color in my life to break up the various shades of black, blue, and tan I typically wear.

My current "fleet" of vehicles are all in the blue family: Flame Blue X150, Blue Subaru, Teal Camaro. My initial order for the Maverick continued the trend (Area 51) but I decided to go wild on this and changed it to Cyber Orange (and had to really grit my teeth with the thought of paying extra $ for it). If this was a large truck, no way would I pick the color but I find myself liking the bold colors on "smaller" vehicles.

From the polling data so far, it looks like those of us who will have this color will be relatively scarce, which is also kind of nice.

I do think the Velocity Blue is also nice, but then I would have to get custom plates for my two Ford Trucks - "Me" for the F150 and "Mini-Me" for the Maverick.

Is the paint a metallic? I originally was going for this color, but a couple of photos that I've seen made the color look like an orange creamsicle!

The new order guide states it is a metallic tri-coat. What is the difference between metallic and pearl coat?
