Add another, but I'm quite certain my issue is the sway bar bushing.... When I wiggle the end link by hand and can duplicate the noise inside the cabin but it doesn't appear to be the link itself. The noise is coming from the left sway bar bushing area. The bushing APPEARS to be fine...

I'm taking my '88 Mercury Cougar XR7 this year.

I daily drove a fairly modified mid 80s Ford product with a 302 for years. Made almost 400 to the tire all motor and it was LOUD. I still have the car, but it's a weekend toy now. The exhaust clips I hear on these trucks are rather tame TBH.

It is one of the greatest little things Ford ever did. I own THREE FoMoCo vehicles from the '80s and all of them have this lovely feature. In my experience it is one of the most durable pieces of equipment on any vehicle. Those early versions just DO NOT go bad/break.
