Yeah, I don’t get why folks diss hybrid performance. I’m 65, coming off a V6 Frontier and my hybrid is plenty peppy. Besides, with all respect, if it’s performance, speed and power you want, most guys wouldn’t put any kind of Maverick atop their list.

It’s all about relative experience. My previous vehicle was a 2017 Frontier, growly V6 and lots of wind noise. My 24 Lariat hybrid is vastly quieter. I agree with others who say life is too short to be constantly annoyed by something.
