Has anyone tried swapping the 8” for the 12” and kept the original apim module? I know on my 2016 F150 i did the sync 3.4 apim upgrade and kept the original screen. Curious it the reverse could be done. Just upgrade the size but keep the stock apim.

Some say you dont need them but on my F150 mine was broke by the previous owner and they must have kept 3/4 impact guns and batteries in it because the little tabs you press in to lower it were deformed and never held my glove box up. All good not storing anything but straws and napkins lol

Just interesting that they put it on the Bronco sport that year, but they didn’t put it on the Maverick Lariat OK, glad to know. I’m not missing something. Thanks.

I would have bought this if the lights were replaceable without removing the whole product. Not sure how long the LEDs will last. Not all LEDs are made the same.
