Ok, sounds like you are on a regression. Soon you’ll realize that you never go off road so you don’t need a Tremor and you’ll go with the Maverick Lariat. Hopefully, that will be the end but who knows? lol

Defeats my purpose. I want to get in, push the button, start the truck. Works great so far.

Had the fob hidden in the cab for over a week. Working like a dream. Don’t need to carry my fob, keypad or app unlocks the truck.

If I remove the rubber piece above the phone charger will it increase my charging capability?

I paid to have it dealer installed (per Ford’s recommendation) but after looking at the directions for programming I think it can be done by owner.

Too bad you don’t like the stick on keyless entry keypad. I’ve never had one before. Now I hide my fob in the cab and use the keypad or the Ford app to lock or unlock the door. No bulky fob to carry around or leave someplace. Points covered the cost of the pad. I love it.

Understand that you are not driving a 1990 vehicle, even if 1990 was the last time you bought a new vehicle. 2020’s cars are much different than 30 years ago. Hybrids are mature, simple, and save ”much” gas. New technologies are not just bells and whistles but provide safety and convenience...

Very true. My garage door opener is in plain site. An adventurist thief could easily find my registration (with addres) and rob my house. And now, with the key inside, I will provide them with transportation and a truck bed for their haul. Do I look worried? lol

I just ordered the keypad from Ford (used my Ford points). Right now I keep my key in the armrest and lock and unlock from the app. The locking and unlocking from the door handle is disabled. I just have to remember to lock the truck from the app or keypad. Never had a keypad on a vehicle...
