They just went with LFP batteries which is nice. Feel like they would have crushed it when the $7500 EV credit was still in place. Now, I am not so sure. I like a lot of their concepts but ultimately, it is really stripped down and underpowered.
Toyota and Ford both have plans for sub-$30K...
Sounds good. I live in Maine and have debated adding an oil catch pan. Still on the fence given how cold it can get here in winter. I burn non-ethanol gas; always something rated "Top Tier" Yes, it is more expensive but I don't drive nearly as much as I did before I retired so I'm OK with it...
Carmax is nuts too. I had an offer from them for my Tacoma that I shoved in the face of the Ford Salesman before I bought my Maverick. He just sighed and said, "How much did they offer?...OK wow.." (2016 Tacoma Access Cab w/ Tow) $19,500)
I use mostly Citgo Top Tier non ethanol, as the station is right down the road from me. I have the Club Citgo App so I save a few pennies per gallon. I don't drive a lot and when I do it is shorter trips now. I'm not a big fan of ethanol, as it breaks down and can cause a lot of problem; less...
I have the mud flaps, seat covers and a few of the covers for spots Ford didn't feel necessary to cover (Like near the town hitch, bumper etc.) The fit is fantastic. Big fan of Mabett!
I used to take my wife to Jo-ann's fabrics for crafting supplies. I went in once and after looking at fabric, Styrofoam animals, etc. I started to get a headache. On subsequent visits, I stayed in the truck and looked in the parking lot to see maybe 5 or 6 other guys sitting in their trucks...
Yeah camera blind spot. It was designated parking and I thought I was being clever by tucking in right next to the curb so I was only exposed on one side. It is a crazy busy dealership and the regular parking is really narrow. Someone must have backed into me and it had to be a car given how...
This exactly. I thought about just popping it out but it did get the backup sensor to be sure. The thing is popping off when I back up now. Given how new the truck is I'm just going to bite the bullet, pay the deductible ($500) and get it fixed.
I was parked at a local Chevy dealer yesterday to get my wife's Volt serviced (New Spark Plugs) and parked my maverick up against a curb. Deliberately parked where I did to reduce exposure to other vehicles, as it is a busy parking lot. I got my Maverick last fall and it only has 2300 miles on...
Really think through liner options. I thought I wanted the drop in bedliner from Ford but ended up changing that up. I used the headpiece and tailgate piece but ended up using a Weathertech Techliner for the bed. (Wierd, I know but it looks great.)
Also given the number of openings in the...
