Thx for replies.
I had an oil change (local Ford dealer) in February and have gone 6,000 miles since. Nothing noticeable except maybe gas mileage has been a little worse than before.
Iāll pay attention to see if I notice anything going forward.
The lame subject line genuinely reflects my ignorance. Was filling my wiper fluid today and noticed this disconnected air hose. It was easy to reconnect, but I was seeking input on if it was a big deal and how it might have come undone.
picts show both states, before and after.
Ah, thx that makes sense. I think the outcome is pretty similar regardless.
Itās easy enough to press AC if the glass starts fogging up! But I wouldnāt be surprised if Ford found that many people donāt know to do that.
Yes, in my 25 the AC comes on automatically depending on outside temps. These days, w temps between 40 and 80, itās a crap shoot.
the worst part is the indicator light under the AC button on the touch screen is tiny and not bright. It gets washed out by sunlight. And of course it takes a few...
Thereās several pieces needed:

Pads that connect to t slot

Towers that connect to the pads

Adapters that connect the towers to the cross bars. There are different adapters for different style bars. In addition, I had to...
I used Yakima feet that are basically quick-release. Very convenient. I could use my existing decades-old roof rack. So pretty cheap from that context. š
where did you get those tie-down cleats?
As others have noted, it totally looks like a DOT or utility company truck. That might lead to some interesting situations in real life. Cops might overlook speeding and other drivers might get out of your way.
like any other aesthetic choice itās a personal one, but I respect that Ford is...
Mainly that itās sticky in warm weather. Iām not a big ac fan and mostly wear shorts.
not so great in the cold either, but the seat heaters work well so less of an issue.
Thanks for a useful post.
what are those seat covers you installed. Looks like a canvas-type fabric?
Iām not particularly fond of the āpleatherā on my 25 Lariat.
thx
I installed the seat jackers on the rear of the seats, so the seat pan itself would be more parallel to the ground.
It was a complete success. Makes the seat much more comfortable for me.
The fact that the power seat does not have a seat pan tilt adjustment is probably my only complaint about...
Yes, many times but will generally take our RAV-4 if a longer trip with two in back seat.
Also, my dog rides back there all the time, and taking the dog cover out is a pain.
I find the two pretty equivalent.
The most distinctive things about Mavs are the side profile, particularly the elegant (yup) rear cab pillar curve at the bottom, and the overall size and stance. These are the elements that I believe cause the positive reactions I hear. The front end details...
While the beauty of the Mav is how the whole package comes together in an amazingly efficient and useful vehicle, I probably enjoy the E.V. Coach on the dash on every trip. It makes me look at driving differently and (hopefully) be a more mindful driver.
