I completely sympathize with the OP's comments. It is very frustrating when you feel there is a problem and it isn't being addressed. However as others have noted I don't know that Ford has even officially acknowledged there is a problem with the 12v system which is a problem in and of itself...

I have seen a lot of OEM's pull out the 1 qt per 1000 mi out of their backside when they know they have a problem. And sadly it isn't as uncommon as many would think. It is all CYA by the OEMs when people start reporting excessive oil consumption.

If you have ever run a diesel you then know as soon as that regen fires up your fuel economy is out the window. They aren't going to make their CAFE numbers with the GPF. Something is going to have to give.
