I had my wife close everything up while I laid in the bed and I didn't see any light coming in from that area. We will take a look after the first carwash and see what's what. The even better news is that my wife let me back out.😀

That is a huge gap there, do you have a link to one that fits well or are the gaskets pretty much universal?

A word to the wise, if you're going to register your new cover, make sure you write down the serial number before you install the cover. If you don't, you have to lay on your back and try and read it upside down. It's on the underside of the fixed panel closest to the cab on the drivers side.
