I hope you had a great time! You must have been really going fast to get mpg that low. Do you have the awd or fwd? My hybrid has never gotten mpg that low and I have the awd. Of course I don’t drive that fast but our speed limit is not over 65.

Thank you all for the information. It looks like since the final drive ratio went up the engine revs 200 rpm higher. I am ok with that given the increased acceleration.

Usually the tires that come with the truck are 225/65/17. You say the new tires are 245/75/17. I guess the wider tires will fit?

You would have to have a good ear to determine the engine rpm lol. It is very quiet at high speeds. Sounds like the engine is revving low like 2000 rpm

The hybrid transmission has no gears. The hybrid does not come with a tachometer. I think you can still get the gas engine rpms somehow.

It still uses a ICE.

I don’t believe the hybrid revs that high. Does anyone have any insight on this matter? Like hooking up a scan guage?

What I meant is that when going 70 ot 80 mph the truck seems relaxed like it is revving at low rpms. But what you are telling me is that the rpms are on the high end but it doesn’t feel or sound noisy. I prefer lower rpms.

I have the AWD version I forgot to mention. That rpm seems really high?
