  1. If you reordered your Maverick TODAY… what trim are you picking?

Does the dealer even invite you to the parties aboard his yacht you bought him?
  2. How the Hybrid and CVT works

Please don't cite LLMs they are neither an authority or a source, link the sources they claim say what they have produced a frequently inaccurate digest of. (Paperclip kinda looking widget) Now funnily Toyota's system copied Fords more since the early 2010s I think, when they moved the second...
  3. If you reordered your Maverick TODAY… what trim are you picking?

I didn't want to want a Lariat, but had been determined to get advanced cruise control. I might have dithered another year or bought used, but appearance of 4k tow AWD hybrid made me wanna jump on one before it went away or got impossible to find. Barring accidents, the only thing I see me...
  4. 2026 Maverick Hybrid AWD Improvements (Slip Test)

Yup, that's why I can only wonder. I have noticed on vehicles in the past that even going from the positive side of alignment tolerance to the negative can make a relatively huge difference in traction. So a lot of variables to control.
  5. 2026 Maverick Hybrid AWD Improvements (Slip Test)

I am wondering if they did something in mid year refresh 2025, job 2, 2025 1/2, or whatever you want to call it, because I was really amazed how surefooted mine was on sheet ice over the winter... think it was built in June. Was on a completely glazed parking lot, stepped out and good thing I...
  6. Maverick Sales Report: 14,196 in April 2026

Yeah, unibody whining belongs back in the 1960s, you know around the time when they swore they loved adjusting points every weekend and capacitor discharge ignitions were the devil. That was back when Elvis was alive and still actually good, if you are senile enough to need further points of...
  7. 【Mabett Giveaway】Anyone else already adjusting their Maverick setup for the heat?🎁

I gotta hose off my mats, still to put on my summer wheels, they keep threatening frost and we're barely getting out of single digit centigrade weather yet. However, had some warm days, so gotta scrape the spring insect jerky off the front clip to make fresh summer insect jerky.
  8. Hybrid thoughts

I ran the Mav yesterday, but today needed to pop to a nearby store and the PHEV had charge in it, so took the Escape PHEV, there and back for a dime.
  9. New toy to haul with my Maverick: 2006 Forest River Cabin A

I think my Acer tablet shows up as something weird, like utp media device under my computer, rather than seeming like a phone.. it's just there as a drive for drag and drop. Edited, yeah that VVV below or sometimes two drives if they present internal storage and SDcard separately.
  10. Toolkit for 2025 Mav hybrid

My view on warning triangles is that you want the one that makes the loudest noise when it gets knocked down to give you that extra second or two to dive in the ditch.
  11. Toolkit for 2025 Mav hybrid

If you get the ones with magnets in the bottom you can stick them on the side of the vehicle while you are changing a tire in the rain and have a mini awning to do it under. Also if you're fiddling under the hood and drop a screw you can roll it lengthwise and "fish" with it.
  12. Toolkit for 2025 Mav hybrid

Non Mav-specific, but I always liked to carry a wire coathanger... saved my ass on multiple occasions in beaters. Couple of times it was simple muffler tie up, one time used some for a hose clamp, one time an alternator lost a bolt and I had a nearly dead batt, no charging and the same belt ran...
  13. Deciding between a hard roll up or a flip up tonneau

I was planning on a cheap roller with T slot rails originally. However, due to unit availability during the last Ford Employee pricing when I made my deal, I ended up with a preinstalled ford trifold... which after the wheeling and dealing only seemed to cost me about $600 over a truck without...
  14. Name Something Your Truck Hauled That Made People Stare

My wife... Possibly because she looks more like older Kirstie Alley than she did younger Kirstie Alley so she gets double takes, depending on clothes/hair that day. Funny thing is, she was closer to Bunty Bailey (Aha Take on Me video is most famous appearance I think) back in the day.
  15. 👉🏻UPDATE👇🏻 Ford uses Torx PLUS ++ Here is the Difference

This just in, it is claimed all blueberries have a T-30 divot on top, but looking at these pictures of that more blunt looking star, I would venture to say they are indeed a TP-30...
