Ted,
I agree with you, I added a lot of "stuff" to make my Maverick mine. I even painted the brake calipers blue for "hybrid". Have fun with your new toy.
My wife's Toyoda RAV-4 hybrid is a lot nosier than my Maverick hybrid. The new 2026 RAV-4 added a lot of sound deadening material to cut down on the noise.
Add auto day/night rear view mirror with Home Link (I retro fitted my Mav last week and love it).
I really want the "mode" setting to stay where it was when I turned the truck off. My RAV-4 modes stay at the last setting, so if Toyoda can do it, Ford can.
I agree with better materials...
Thank you for this tip, I ordered a mirror for my Maverick, it arrived on time, the cable was already modified and it took longer to watch the YouTube than to install the mirror and hook up the cables. The Home Link only took seconds to program to my opener and the compass was spot on, no...
Loved my 1996 Chev S-10 for it's size and used it 95% of the time to commute to work & 5% of the time for hauling stuff. It was totaled in an accident in 2009 that was not my fault. The only small truck at that time was a Tacoma. I drove it for 16 years but never cared for the truck. I have...
My Maverick is called my "Toy Truck". I waited 3 years to be able to order one and glad I did. I have an AWD Lariat Hybrid and I love it. Ford hit a home run with this truck.
I'm thinking about painting my disk brake calipers and wanted to know does anyone have any comments or suggestions. I have a white 2025 Lariat hybrid and thinking of painting the 4 calipers "blue" to go along with the industry's use blue to equate to hybrid. I Googled "painting calipers" and...
I'm 73 and on my 4th small truck. I wanted great gas millage, easy in/out and be able to haul a sheet of plywood for my workshop. My 2025 Lariat is everything I was looking for.
I use my Maverick 400 watt AC socket to power my DeWalt battery charger. The chargers draw between 200-360 watts depending on the model. This works great when working with tools away from normal A/C power.
I sold my 2009 Tacoma with 113,000 miles on it for $10,750, I paid $21,000 for it 16 years ago. I wanted a small pickup truck with good gas milage and all the new safety features. I'm now driving a 2025 Lariat and love everything about this truck. My out the door cost was $29,000 after the...
