I figured the pump was good because I can hear it buzz when I hit the washer lever so I looked up how to access the reservoir. The procedure on line makes it sound so easy but after trying to even see with the wheel well liner removed I can see why its the weakest link. That reservoir and all...
My 2022 Maverick Lariat windshield washer pump will only spurt out just a spit of water. This is the second time this has happened in two months. The Ford dealership found a clogged pump inlet and squared that away and now the pump buzzes or hums but no water is sprayed on the windshield. And...
Does anyone know of a trick or some way to have the 3rd brake light truck bed lights not come on when the driver's door is opened. Mine come on every time the driver's door is opened day or night.
Nice ride! Welcome to the club. My Maverick is a dream to drive compared to my older (2014) Silverado. Hybrid works great. Daytona Beach to middle GA at 80MPH and still had 150 mile to empty in the tank.
Similar situation with my 2022 Maverick Hybrid. Read somewhere else to put a few drops of dishwasher soap in the reservoir and let it sit a few hours. Then rinse it out, refill and try again. Waiting to try it again.
More to follow!
Filled the reservoir with some OLD washer fluid and a glob of semisolid washer fluid went into the reservoir. Now the windshield washer system will spray a spirt and then nothing. So wow do I unclog my windshield washer reservoir?
Still getting accustomed to my new to me 2022 Maverick Lariat Hybrid. Several times now, when I pull into the driveway and shut the Maverick off, the horn beep when I open the door. Not every time just every now and again. I there a way to top this?
I am new to the hybrid engine. I have been an engine technician for 50+ years. Reading through the owner' manual (on line) the mention checking the air filter restriction gauge monthly. Where in the underwood universe is that located?
