Been in the MTC a while now, (long enough to get a Maverick), just recently noticed a SC group and thought I could benefit from joining. Had my 24 hybrid about a month and so far has been everything I hoped for. Only about 550 miles so far.

@Waterick same here. I just hit 571 this morning on the way to work. still on my first tank of gas. Loving it.

@Waterick Surprised your still that low. I believe you got your truck slightly before I did. I'm sure the holidays helped. I only expect to get 6-8000 miles per year as I am retired and still have a small fleet of vehicles to share mandatory miles. I anticipate using the Maverick more and more. I already disposed of my '01 Ranger and hope to let my 30 year old favorite (Nissan NX) go to a good home if all works out.

@Waterick I did not drive at all from Christmas to New Year. Also work is only 5.9 away, so does not add much. I am still very happy though.

Beware with that short a commute of the dreaded deep sleep and BMS issues. Apparently most newer Ford's need a longer period of drive, especially hybrids.

@Waterick I have been wondering about that. I guess I need to do some road trips on the weekend, what a shame.

@Jackel007 with any luck ours will not have the problem. Just because we hear all about it on the forum, hopefully it's a rare problem especially on the newer models. Just bought my first tank of gas. Went 560 miles took 13.2 gallons. Don't know if dealer really filled it up or just close. Calculated out to 42.5 MPG. Computer on truck said 44.6. on PAR with what MTC members have shown. Hoped for better, but have had some pretty cold days recently.

@Waterick I filled up for the first time too, I got 602.1 and did 13.5 so 44.6 actual. The screen I have it on is the EV coach so it only show est. MPG after each trip, so not sure what it shows overall. Plus we will get less as the weather temps drops, but cant wait until spring to see how high I can go. I am hoping that by the 24's they have a lot of the bugs worked out. I still drove about 90 miles this weekend. I am also wondering if the ones that have the problem only drive a few miles per day. While I am driving shorter trips I am putting on average about 20 mile a day.

I'm in Aiken, SC. '24 Maverick XLT Hybrid. Carbonized Grey. Loving driving it. My wife likes it too. Ordered in July the day the order banks opened. Picked up at the dealership Feb 7. It has right over 500 miles so far. Filled up at 305 miles, near half a tank. I'll start tracking MPG after next fill up. I saw one used Cyber Orange at the dealership last year the day it was being bought by the second owner and we chatted a bit. And I've seen a dark Alto Blue Lariat around town and actually spoke to it's owner the week before I got mine. Looking forward to some "meet ups and convoys" this summer.
