I pick up a couple vehicles to run at World of RC just before the pandemic hit after the track in Durham closed down. Never made it out there. I wanted to start running in the 2WD and 4WD electric classes. Had mainly been doing on-road, most recently running VTA and was about to get into F1. I hope to get out there this upcoming spring. A day at the track is always a good day.

@RoyalTeaDee I wish I was able to get out there more often. I'm getting the Bak Revolver X4S hard rollup tonneau soon, which will let me transport all my cars and gear securely. It's actually one of the reasons I got the Maverick, my stuff doesn't fit in my Nissan Juke. I've run outdoor offroad 1/8 electric buggy and truggy and indoor offroad 1/10 2wd buggy. They have a new Tamiya TT-01/02 series that they just started running in the parking lot (onroad). Kinda stock-ish classes, but I haven't bought one... not sure if I'm going to do it yet.
I have a custom gmade r1 crawler, a rustler vxl 4x4 basher, and a couple wltoys just for messing around (a 1/28 and 1/18 speed runner).

@Bargeld I've stuck mostly with 1/10 class vehicles. My newest kits are the Associated B6.3D and B74.1D buddies. I love Tamiya kits. Hopefully that'll be a series they run again in the future. Will have to get a new kit as my current on-road kits are Associated or X-Ray. I haven't tried driving on asphalt. The track in Durham was indoor carpet, so I'm sure there will be some learning curves there. I was excited about the Maverick for the gas mileage. It's about an hour drive for me to Lucama and that drive eats up a lot of gas for me. I with you about the ease of transporting your gear. I can get it in my Caliber, but it's a pain in the ass. Can't wait to start wrenching again.

Hi everyone, I'm in Cary, recently purchased a '24 Lariat Tremor, really like it so far.
