Hey, does this sound familiar? My 23XLT FWD has started having a "shimmy" when I am going uphill "at speed" or accelerating strongly on level ground and feels like it is the right front wheel that is affected. . For example, when I go over Cowee or Balsam, it started a pretty strong shimmy around 60mph. I had the 14 month old tires balanced and rotated with no improvement.
I heard that there was a front lower control arm-to-steering knuckle ball joint recall on some models, but I do not see it on my Ford account page.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I have serviced scheduled next Monday for the parking brake module.... I will try to leverage a ball joint inspection.
Thanks!
