How bout tires?? The factory Continental tires on my hybrid suck in the rain!! I am not gonna think about winter!
I have ideas and my dealership did not want to sell me what I am looking for... grumble grumble grumble

the last few winters have been relatively mild down here in the southern part of the state. guess i'm going to take my chances and see how the stock tires fare on my maverick. if i have any issues i'll just get whatever tirerack.com is recommending and have my local mechanic slap them on the vehicle.

@scottjl lmao... farmer's almanac says it is gonna be a real winter this year. Good luck. I go camping enough with my bicycle through the summer that I need much more

@DanTMA yeah it said that last year and the year before too i believe. i don't think farmers account for global warming and all. i do a lot of camping too but so far the stock tires have been fine, and we don't get as much snow down here as they do up north.

So I dunno if this year really counted as a "real winter", at least not where I'm at. The folks up north sure got slammed. I think my friends back east had it worse than I did. 🤣

Got rid of the continentals @300 miles. Falken wildpeak AT3 work well all around. They are a bit firmer ride, but it is a truck.

The Falken is a beautiful tire but aggressive and I want something like the B/F Goodrich Trail Terrain I have always run B/F Goodrich All Terrain T/A on my trucks but those are much more aggressive than I am thinking fer the Hybrid... thanks for the input!
