With the exception of noise generated by the electric power brake which is only there when brakes are applied there is very little electrical noise in my ham radio on HF SSB frequencies. This may be the quietest truck I ever owned. Most modern gas engines do not radiate noise like older ones that had spark plug wires. Coil over plug eliminated that.

Following this thread closely as I plan to run HF in my Maverick AWD Hybrid (Build date: wk of July 21st 2025)

I have a ‘24 F250 w/ the HO PowerStroke for towing so plan on using the Maverick’s 2x2 receiver hitch for an antenna mount. I’ll probably run my (12 ft) Outbacker Outreach or maybe 7ft mono band hamsticks.

Looks like I can shoehorn an FT-818ND into the center console and maybe fit my KXPA100 w/ auto tuner near the subwoofer location or under the back seats

Very happy to read WB5OQX’s post on the lack of RF noise on his hybrid!
