Speaking to the other Old Farts on here: I've got a question. Is it me just getting old and crotchety or are some of these young folks on here driving you batty and making you question modern parenting practices and the state of the school systems? I've watched threads as questions are asked and a couple of pretty good answers are given... and then several pages later, a couple hundred folks have added their "expert" opinions; some on point but the umpteenth repetition of the same answers given by everyone else and others are either completely wrong, off point, or offering answers or opinions that make it obvious they didn't completely read or comprehend the original post or are sadly misinformed.
And then there's the fear and angst! What if this? and what if that? and if I find a spider in my glove box will it void my warranty?
Some of these young folks are amazing! They want to make more advanced, or at least different, parts from other models work in their truck and they source the parts and make it work and look pretty amazing. Granted, not always things that I'd do to mine or maybe I'd consider doing but I'd never spend the money to do it, but amazing stuff none the less. And the custom work with the sound systems, wow! I used to know a bunch about all that stuff but what they are buying and installing now, I honestly have no idea what they're talking about.
So anyway, I will quit ranting and if I'm wrong I'll quietly crawl off and try to have a serious talk with myself about my apparent insensitivity, intolerance, bigotry, and lack of sensitivity and understanding.
