Larry W8LM... Got back from Washington DC inauguration festivities. 1250 miles each way. I took a Fusion HT- Openspot 2 and a 4G T-mobile Hot spot on Tello.com ($10 per month data only).
I had connections all the way in my 3 day trip.
On the way back I detoured to R & L electronics to see if I could examine a antenna mount to see if it will fit my 2024 maverick..

The sales people at R&L let me tke i out to the parking lot to pop the hood and see if it will fit the right front fender.. The mount is:

OPEK Model AM-410
OPEK Antenna Fender Bracket 3/4" Hole (passengers side)
Fits 17 to 22 Ford Superduty F250, F350, F450, F550

It's just the bracket a NMO mount and coax is needed.. It's stailness steel and is $12.95.. No holes to drill..
You want passenger side because the RF from a 2-440 rig at 50 watts, would be too close to your noggin on the drivers side. Basically it would look like 50's-90's car radio antenna..

I still have it in the package, I may mount it this weekend as temps are going to 60 this weekend.

It's my understanding the fuse panel is under the carpeting on the passenger side under the glove box. and mounting a 2-way would be ideal just under the heat-air controls. So that makes an easy-peasy install..
