Nice to find a group like this. I have a 2025 XLT 2.0 on order hopefully for delivery in January. The only mods I plan on making our bed cover hood deflector, and floor mats. Are there other modifications I should consider?

There’s several things I’m going to be using it for. One is I built myself a small wood shop and so I’ll use it to transport my crafts to flea markets and craft shows and to haul sheet goods. The other use is going to be to load my ATV in the bed and Pull our small pop-up camper.

Then some sort of bed liner and start working on the bed dividers.

I did get a spray in bed liner as an option or may have come as standard equipment. Can’t remember for sure. And yeah, I will do the DIY bed dividers and those type of things that will help make the bed more useful.

One of the 1st things I did when I got mine is take out the fender liners and sprayed rubberized coating in there.

Also you will notice in the very back there is coverage on the left had side, but not on the driver's side, so I made a fiberglass plate to cover the driver's side as well. There are some threads on the forum covering this subject

DIY - build shield to cover underbody cavity behind left rear tire
Look for that in the forum, Mine is not as fancy as his but it helps keep the road debris out of that area,

@wax87 yeah, I saw where that was really open back there and just a huge cavity. I’ll take a look on the site and see how people have addressed that.

Would a DIY undercoating product sprayed up in that area help? Any anybody done that?

Did you get the cargo bed side rails? If not,
you should consider a DIY project to assist in tying down your varied cargos. Most people end up purchasing a tailgate assist strut. For me tinted windows was a must.

No, I did not get the side rails, but saw it as a DIY which looked pretty straightforward and something that I would do. Thanks for the reminder though.
