Hey! Welcome to the Maverick Club old farts! Is that a Pontiac Chieftain? My dad had a 1950 one, it had the light up hood ornament, was WAY cool (and great riding) car. They definitely don't build a luxury car quite like those anymore! Have a great evening!

@First Sergeant yes sir it is. I no longer have it unfortunately as the old bearings and rods gave up the ghost. Mine had a light up chief head but ended up selling it to a gent in the UK who ended up with an LS8 swap. Sacrilege

@timctaylor That old Pontiac we had was way cool. The older cars were great for many reasons, but the best was the DESIGNS. Easy to tell the difference between Ford, Chevy, Buick, all of them. Nearly every very single car today to me looks like a box and looks the same, especially the little gas miser ones.

Totally agree. Vanila pudding my kids tell me
