I have been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1974 and I love to operate HF mobile. My call is WB5OXQ and I am good on QRZ. My Maverick is a 2023 Lariat AWD with the 4K tow package and the black appearance group. I have installed a FT891 and a FTM300DR with a 300 watt hf amplifier and a Tarheel 75A antenna.
Remote controls for the radios are on the front of the console box where my right hand it right there on the controls. The radios and the amplifier are located under the back seat. External speakers for the radios are located below the rear window in place of the center headrest.
