Parked my new XLT next to a new Lariat today and the owner and I ooh'd and ah'd at what a great choice we made! I did envy her sliding rear window, but in reality I haven't missed having it yet...and she loved my rearview mirror with the HomeLink that I installed...and I encouraged her to join the Maverick Truck Club, of course!

I wish mine had homelink!

I don’t have a house that is set up for homelink however I sure wish my top of the lariat had a built in garage door opener. The one that clips onto the visor rattles. I HATE RATTLES! Oh and the sunglasses holder rattles also but that’s another story.

Homelink works with all garage door openers. You don't need a special set up at your house. My girlfriends Edge has homelink and it works with my old sears garage door opener. I have no idea why homelink wasn't available on a Maverick.

@TJ2023 And it's so easy to program: just put your existing door opener remote near the mirror, press and hold the remote as you press the HomeLink button and wait about 5 seconds. Boom, done.

I know how to program opener remote. I would like to see one built into the sun visor. Most top end models have it.
