I went with terrain myself. Who did you order through? I've used Gaudin for years, but went with Ford Country in Henderson. I'm getting the sinking feeling I should have stayed with Gaudin. I asked that the splash guards be removed from my order due to all the constraints and was told it was done. Got my window sticker the other day and .... boom.... still listed as an option. I've also asked them several times to make sure my email is registered with Ford since I haven't been getting any. In production this week and we'll see if it'll bite me. Like you, have seen very few on the road and not any of the new colors yet. Still waiting to see Terrain in person.

Got mine at ford country. There"s a terrain xlt sitting there 10,000$ markup so around 40. I wasn't getting emails from ford so asked the ford chat why. She told me theres a way the dealer can have them directed to them only. Was kinda irritating but the salesman kept me very informed. I had splash guards on my order and removed. Only options are spray in liner and awd. We like the terrain, almost 400 miles on it now.

Same thing Ford Chat told me. Asked the dealership three times already to get me in the loop, but nothing. My sales guy keeps me up to date as well, but I asked that the splash guards be removed. We'll see this week if they put me in assembly line purgatory. (Laugh) Last question… treat you well when closing the deal?

If you have a sticker they have your splash guards. I removed mine and a cpl other things to maybe get truck sooner. I pd cash so the only thing is asking if you want the ext warranty, He was a nice guy, no pressure. Good experience.

@40caliber Thanks for the info about the splash guards. Feel better about it now. I'm doing the same in regards to my purchase. Good to know there's no added pressure and no surprises. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Well my XLT Terrain is no more. Had it exactly one month/1000 miles. Ordered an XL 7/18, ordered XLT 8/8. My salesman Eli called Saturday morning around 9 told me the XL arrived, asked if i wanted it. When i picked up the XLT i got my 500 XL deposit back so technically they could sell the XL to anyone. Was near dealer so stopped by just to look at it. Eli and i drove to a lot where they receive them then back to dealer. I said i'd swap mine for it if it was advantageous for me. So half hour later was signing papers. Made a few bucks and once again a new truck. They had it prepped and ready to go around 1. The xl is awd and spray in bed liner same as the xlt. Only thing i liked better on the xlt was the wheels. Long story, what's the date on yours LVSharkb8?

@40caliber As long as you're happy that's all that matters! Me? On the train with an ETA of 02/24-03/08. Question for you... what is Ford Country's Doc Fee Cost? Getting my ducks in row to run in there, do the paperwork, sign the dotted line and hopefully only take 30 minutes like you did!

@40caliber UPDATE: Went into FINAL PREPERATION 03/01/24. Salesman off today and can't confirm it's on the lot. Soon... very soon. Hope to pick it up next week!

Thank you for the offer to share your numbers. Looked at it today and got my OTD price and breakdown. Picking it up Tuesday afternoon after it’s cleaned up and some accessories are installed. Very simple MSRP, Doc Fee, and license fee. Happy so far. PS- Took it for a test drive in these hurricane force winds today. Handles great!!
