Central Illinois Mavericks

Well after a month I finally got a NEW Maverick after the insurance totaled my 22. I landed a 24 Carbonized Gray, AWD eco beast XLT LUX with BAP. So if you see it around Peoria/Galesburg area it’s probably me. I haven’t seen one yet. Not sure I’ve seen any Mavericks around Peoria with Black appearance package. Have you guys

Sounds nice for sure! Don't think I've seen any 24 Carbonized Gray. That was probably my next choice if I couldn't get the Alto Blue. Would love to see it! Post pics when you can. ;-)

If you do not mind me asking, did they cover the full replacement of a Mav. on a dealer lot? How did that process work?

@Luthinator I carry USAA for insurance. The way my account is set up is, I carry full coverage and I have an add on, plus gap insurance. So If my truck is totaled they have to pay out the Market value which luckily the market is high on Mavericks, The add on feature of my insurance is if my vehicle is totaled they pay me 20% of its worth to put towards my next vehicle. So I paid MSRP for my 22 Mav back in 21 which was $27050. The insurance paid me and the bank $30k and change. so I got more back then what I paid. After the bank was paid off, All I had to do was finance the new Maverick. The biggest issue I ran into was finding one. Everything was either spoken for already or it was marked up $5k.

Makes sense. I'm glad it worked out for you. I had the same sort of thing with a Hyundai I had for about 5 weeks. I was able to come out on top and upgraded to the next model and ended up paying $20 less a month.
