The AC in the hybrid starts cooling almost immediately too. Much faster than my other gas only vehicles...which is very nice here in Atlanta during the summer.

A Dodge? No fix yet for CV axles
More so the electric AC compressor can spin up faster.cooling faster? nah, ecoboost works extremely well, also.
what you're really feeling is that Ford is very serious about strong heating and air, both. the HVAC in every late-model Ford I've been in is extremely robust, even if the car has been sitting in 100+ degree sun, or frozen in -15 degree winter.
the hybrid can keep the AC compressor spinning when the engine is off, but of course it can, the internal combustion engine is often off.
interesting and I wonder who wrote that?More so the electric AC compressor can spin up faster.
" Since the electric compressor speed is not tied to engine speed, it can provide maximum performance at any engine speed, unlike the belt-driven compressor. The capacity can be controlled to match the cooling demand, providing optimum comfort while maintaining energy efficiency. "
Another plus for the Hybrid.
This guy;interesting and I wonder who wrote that?
I’m actually shocked they don’t do this on the ice engines anyway. Much like power steering the alternators are good enough now to produce the power. Would also help increase fuel efficiency just like electric power steering.More so the electric AC compressor can spin up faster.

I do the same as you - turn it off. Wish Ford reversed that option where it always off and if you wanted to engage it and use it then you hit the button. I don't always remember to turn it off as soon as I start the truck...To cure the auto stop start, I just push the button to turn it off right after starting the engine each time, that way it’s stays off and I don’t curse
I will just say, the 2.0 is very peppy and will get you up to speed quickly. And if you’re not happy with normal mode, push the button and select sport mode and hold on. I think you’ll be surprised. It won’t match the 5.0 mustangs I’ve had but it’s not suppose to.
Had zero issues with mine, do your maintenance well, oil/filter change every 5k, full synthetic oil and tier 1 gas brands, think you will be pleased. That’s my experience
