Im going to look at a 24 XLT tomorrow and just wanted to ask that simple question.
I would. No problems at all with mine. Great mileage and does 98% of what I need. The SO has a truck for the 4 times a year I have to pull a stock trailer. Wish they had a plug in hybrid model.

Nope. The value prop isn't there for me anymore after getting a Lariat Lux with AWD, FX4, and moon roof for 34k in late 2021.

1. No 0% financing.
2. Massive increases in price
3. Evergreen Ford in Issaquah, WA botched my airbag recall and could have killed me. Ford corporate couldn't care less about calling me back and fixing the issue, despite pictures and screenshots from their own service manual showing the issue.
4. Interior plastic is pure garbage. Rattles, vibrations, poor quality plastic.
5. There are some very good options in the midsize space now.

The value of this vehicle is in lower trims. Spending 40k+ on these things is not worth it in my opinion.

Hind sight being 20/20 I wished I HAD ORDERED my 23 Maverick with XLT trim instead of XL. I'm not a big fan of the cheap XL wheels,,,

No, my circumstances are different now.
I have had a pretty good ownership experience but if were (and I’m not) in the market to replace my 22 FX4, it would be with a new 2wd Ranger with a locking diff. No fancy high end model either.

I would buy another if Ford created a plug in version. I had a 23 XLT Hybrid Lux (because we weren't allowed to order Lariat Hybrids in Canada early on) and ordered a Lariat Hybrid the day the XLT arrived (took 13 months). I had a Volt for 11 years and the extended range it offered suited me perfectly. I prefer the Lariat's rear sensors (front would be nice!) and the slightly quieter cabin.

I probably wouldn't but not because there's anything wrong with the truck. It's a nice truck for the price point (2022 XLT). But, I would probably go Ranger or F-150 now.

I'd like a longer bed and the ability to add a snow plow. At the time, I had a Wrangler with a plow that I kept for a while but sold it because I wasn't using it anymore except to plow and it was too nice and worth too much to be just a plow Jeep. Fuel mileage isn't a big concern since I'm retired and don't put on a lot of miles. I also have a MINI convertible that's my summer car, so a less fuel-efficient truck would only be a daily driver in the winter, seeing just weekly dump run duty the rest of the year.

Yes, it’s still the best bargain for a truck-like vehicle with best fuel economy (hybrid or even turbo) just depends on what you need and/or want to do with it.

Just an FYI...If you want the Pro Trailer and Hitch Assist, you may want to wait until sometime in November to order as they are a Build 2 feature which opens up for orders in November. Otherwise you could possibly get schedule in Build 1 which will not have those features and you can not add them later.
And they will add $300 to the price because of this upgrade no matter the trim level.

I'd get another one hands-down in a heartbeat. It seats 5, drives like an SUV, hauls 3/4 ton, tows either one or 2 tons and gets better gas mileage than any other truck on the market, most by a very large margin. The bed is far better designed than all the others, and having controls that you can feel instead of stupid center-screen controls is inherently safer. There are only two pickups on the market today that even fit in a standard garage - the Mav and the Santa Cruz. If you value the old Subaru Brat look and plushy interiors over real truck functionality then the Hyundai is what you want. Otherwise the Mav wins in virtually every category and is a very obvious choice. I've had 2 Rangers and the new one is larger than an F150 from the 80s and so is no longer suitable for purpose. The F150, Ram and GMC monters just getting bigger and taller every year and are today only suitable for towing ridiculous loads. You can't even see small vehicles or pedestrians in front of the GMC models or the F250 and F350 with their stupid-height hoods. Finally there are no pickups even close in the fuel usage category, and the hybrid gets slightly better mileage than a Prius that can't haul anything.
