This is the 2022 WeatherTech Bug Deflector on my 2024 Lariat. It is raised and fastened on, not the glued on one. I don't like the glued ones because the adhesive tape has openings and IMO salt and grime could hide under those over time, and I would rather not glue anything to the paint. I liked this one the best because you do not have to glue any posts to the hood. It has rubber buttons that glue to the deflector. It has a close fit but you still can wash underneath it. I bought it from WeatherTech. They label it the 2022 and It fits the 2024 perfect. I like to avoid Amazon because WeatherTech makes more profit and it is the same $105.00 total price with shipping as Amazon. Bezos is rich enough.

Unfortunately not available back in 22 . I went with avs bugflector 2 which is also not mounted with tape ( won't tape on any accessories) . avs didn't fit right at the time ( had to modify two center holes ) and missing some grommets that was never supplied . avs customer service was very poor at the time but fortunately I had some grommets that worked . It was the only hood protector that also covered front edges of fenders . fits about 1 inch from fender so can clean behind it . Nice to see other options available now . wouldn't order anything from avs again because of poor customer service . So far so good for now with it .

You think it would save the windshield from small rocks?
Yes it would help if they were hitting the hood and reflection into the wind shield.

Looks great. I hadn't seen this one from WT. They make good stuff. I didn't get the AVS one because of fitment issues. I'd love to see a pic from the side to see how it looks relative to the hood, if you have any. Thanks for the review. :like:

I purchased an AVS through AutoZone, which they didn’t offer a few months ago when I checked, earlier this year. It fit well and I had no problems installing it. I suspect the WeatherTech one is made by AVS. I don’t think they make everything they sell.

Not being a smart azz, but it really looks like a mustache. A color match would look dreamy.

Hi,
Do you have the weather tech part # handy? I looked on the WT website and they list 55211 but it attaches using only tape! How does yours fasten to the hood?
Thanks

I was thinking the same as they look alike. Weathertech does a great job of selecting their suppliers, another example is their excellent Alloycover tonneau coming from Lomax.

Agreed. I happen to have first seen the LOMAX cover on the Weathertech website and then purchased a different version from LOMAX. I’m really happy with that cover as it’s very low profile and a heavier gauge metal than most others.

I would have done the same but my wife gets dealer cost on Weathertech, so I settled for the AlloyCover. I've not seen a better tonneau than what Lomax offers.
