After reading the posts here discussing the video, I didn't even watch it. I do know there is a ton of videos of questionable value on YouTube. I also know that I've had these features since 2017 on our Subaru Outback and in my opinion the rear cross traffic alert alone is worth the $540.

I added the 360 to my XL build for the power mirrors.

If you're a terrible driver, I can see how an active safety system would indeed be an a annoyance.
Exactly. If you're not tailgating or too close to the car in front, it's no issue. We have it on our 21 Escape Hybrid. Love it and I think my wife is much safer having it.

He didn't like it because it alerted and warned him when he got "too close" to other vehicles at highway speeds, and you are thinking about dropping it because he did not like it. Hmm, what am I missing🤔
Also, I think the feature he was complaining the most about is standard. With Co-pilot 360 you get BLIS with CTA and LKA. I like the CTA and LKA in my truck. I also like having BLIS but makes me desire for more in this vehicle, I would've loved it if it alerted me just a little early for faster passing vehicles. That said, no missed detection and worked every time. I hope this helps :)

Off topic, Lane centering and Adaptive Cruise are very very good and naturalistic, one of the best. I love it. My previous vehicle was a Toyota with TSS2.5 and I borderline hated it.

The lane assist on my Mav Copilot360 only works when there are lines on both sides of the road. Then it works well and I like it. The rear cross traffic alert is nice to have; I have not seen it trigger yet. The blind spot warning in the mirror is excellent. The power mirrors are really nice since both my wife and I drive the truck.
I would buy it again.

But modern mirrors are designed to eliminate that blind spot when adjusted properly. The BLIS system is a backup for that. I'm not sure I understand why you world need that spotter mirror.
I went from a 2016 Fusion with spotter mirrors to a 2019 Trax without and I could never get the mirrors adjusted right on the Trax to be as good as the spotters on the Fusion. I opted for the co-pilot package primarily for the blind spot monitoring. The rear cross traffic alert seems like it would come in handy as well.

Spend some time in the Walmart parking lot and the rear cross traffic will earn its keep. ;)

My only complaint with the BLIS is it is only a visual warning, I hated the audible warning on my old car, but it admittingly saved my ass several times in heavy traffic

If I recall you can adjust the sensitivity, which im sure this person in the review didn't bother to do. Didn't seem too tech savvy. I'll keep mine on the order.

I thought Copilot 360 was a no brainer but from this guy's review has me thinking about cancelling it on my order. 1:40ish in the video. Looking for people's opinions one way or the other? Thanks!

Cancel it. I am old school...Stay in your lane and pay attention. Look back over your shoulder in reverse.......Save your money.

Here in Italy all the student drivers have a giant P posted on their back window. Maybe go with that.

Kind of ironic because they all drive like dicks here.
Yeah, I drove from France into Italy once, near Turin. Still scarred from the experience, 30 years later ...

Im old school too but if that saves my bacon or my ladies bacon 1 time it payed for itself. If I don't like it I will disable it but that is unlikely.

NO COPILOT 360 for me in xlt trim... in Lariat it has lane centering & adaptive cruise. much better choice.
