If you ever think to yourself “Can things get worse with my Maverick order?”, keep in mind that they can

So after being “in production” for over a month and a half due to the recall and wait for shipment due to holidays. I called to check the status of cart (through Union Pacific) since it shipped 2 days ago.

Got the news that my rail car status is “Bad Order” which means that the rail car that has a mechanical defect. I guess that waiting 2 years is not enough and I have to wait a little more.

It was supposed to be picked up and leave Arizona today at 3:15pm, but it didn’t. Hopefully they work weekends and get it fixed :ROFLMAO:

Has anyone had the same status or issue before?

It can get worse. I too waited over two years. Got my lariat mid December. And just a couple of days ago with 420 miles on it I was rear ended. It was low speed at a stop light but it wrinkled the bumper, damaged the tailgate and back up camera. That’s the obvious and probably all the damage as I haven’t taken it to the dealer yet. But now I don’t worry about where I park so much.

I feel ya.
Picked up my Mav in early Nov - its been in a body shop for a couple weeks now and has 3 to go. I'll have been without it more than I drove it since buying. I'd be even more annoyed if I was making payments.

I own a tremor and a hybrid. and in a month or so my 24 hybrid will be here.. don't know what to trade in.. i love love my white tremor t.a.p. manly truck 21.5 mpg..lol and my 23 hybrid 30 plus mpg seems to be on a permanent recall because of the maybe crankshaft problem . that i'll assume if i do trade in the dealer can't ever sell it right? Anyways .. Enjoy...

It will make it taste that much sweeter when it finally arrives. My 491 day wait was worth it.

I bet. My wife said it happens for a reason, and having the terrain color made the wait worth it.
I’m at around 477 today since my first order and 781 since I was trying to get one (November 2021 when order banks were closed :( ). Found one at some point with everything I wanted but markup was +$15k lol

Agreed. My 2022 order wouldn't have had NAV, nor would it have had BAP! And now Ford made an Alto Blue BAP a rare, 1-year combo!

Amazing to me, as of yesterday, my dealer (Gillette, WY) still had a 2023 Area 51 Lariat Hybrid loaded with pretty much everything but moonroof (including ACC) for $1500 over MSRP and no bogus addons except the $1500 "Custom order fee add-on for their dealer stock order. It has sat there for at least 2 weeks.

With gas currently at $2.35 here, and everyone thinking they need a Super Duty to go shopping, nobody but me cares about the flat-towable Hybrid, I guess. I was able to use X-Plan on my 2 orders (no $1500 fee). Good dealer,

Alto Blue BAP looks so good, great choice!

For $1,500 more I would’ve gotten it in a heartbeat. I only found $10k-15k for Hybrid Lariats.

Luckily I have a good dealer too, we ordered a Bronco for my wife and got it in less than 3 months (and that was with all constrained items). No fees or anything extra, MSRP and nothing else.

They just don’t seem to sell that many Escapes/Bronco Sports, so their allocations for Mavericks are not that great.

Holy smokes! I have heard about the derailed train carrying Mavericks, so sorry you had to go through that.

Did Ford give you top priority or something for the trouble?
