Yes. My kit came with the proper washers and fasteners. If you didn't get the correct bag I'd bug 'em to provide it!Did you get those washer bushings with your kit

I don't have spray in bedliner (using a rubber mat), but think the tailgate liner would be compatible. The tailgate is heavy as is!Will the liner fit over the spray-in liner?
I thought about mounting the piece of horse mat I have left over from when I cut it down for the bed mat. But it's so heavy; not sure I want to lift that on every opening of the tailgate...
It's not heavy though, I mean you can open and close it with one hand.I don't have spray in bedliner (using a rubber mat), but think the tailgate liner would be compatible. The tailgate is heavy as is!
I recently installed the kit and the 4 small black squares are supposed to be placed on the four outer corners where the install screws go. I downloaded the install instructions from the Ford accessory website ( Ford motorcraft website.)Didn't see the real need for them as the liner covers the squares. Installed anyway per the instructions. There should have been a QR code included with the liner that takes you to the Motorcraft site for the instructions.just got my tailgate liner WITH the correct parts bag but no instructions-think I can figure it out but what are the 4 black adhesive tabs for...?
Yes, the instructions specifically have the torque values. Super low so I just hand tightened them.I like the dibl but a word of caution on the tailgate cover install…do not over tighten the screws as the retaining clip will strip out pretty easily…I should have hand tightened rather than using electric.
Just installed my tailgate liner; took all of 10 mins w the right Torx sizes.Got my "backordered" tailgate liner in, picked it up at the dealer, got 'er installed. Very quick and easy installation. Torx 25 required to remove the 8 factory installed fasteners, Torx 20 required to install the supplied fasteners. This is money well spent IMO:

The instructions aren't included, gotta scan the QR code to take you to the Ford accessory install website. Not much to the instructions anyways. The only tip I can provide is to make sure it's centered horizontally, and parallel with the top lip of the tailgate.

Interesting. That's the same piece that comes as part of the modular drop-in bedliner. The modular bedliner is made of the same material.
I'm a little sorry that I didn't splurge for the drop in bedliner. Dealer gave me 25% off accessories when we bought our Maverick, and all I opted for at that time was a tonneau. I've been using a rubber mat on the bed, have been waiting for Weathertech to have their bed mat available. Regarding the tailgate liner, money well spent IMO!Interesting.
